Burwood and District Family History Group was founded in 1985 for people who wish to research their family history. We meet at Burwood Library on the1st Saturday of each month at 1pm,except January and December. Membership is open to all and visitors are welcome.
Workshops are held on the 1st Saturday of the month at the library from 2 pm till 4 pm where assistance with research is available. All welcome.

Membership is $15.00 (Single) or $20 (Family) and is payable per calendar year and includes receiving the Ances-tree journals for the year, monthly newsletters and borrowing rights to your library of resources.

Research fees:
General Research: Minimum $15.00 (Prepaid)
Petersham Cemetery, Concord Cemetery  $15.00 (Prepaid)
For a Research requests please fill in the form and post with your payment to Burwood and District Family History Group.

Ances-tree is the journal produced by our group and is published three times each year. Family History Groups should request written permission to reprint any articles. Acknowledgement of the source must be given. Copies of the journal are available for $7.00 including postage within Australia and $AUD15.00 for overseas.

Send your order, payment and postal address to: The Secretary, Burwood & District Family History Group, c/o Burwood Library, 2 Conder Street, Burwood NSW 2134, Australia, and the requested journal(s) will be posted to you. Payment may also be made via this web site - send request from  "Contact Us" page and bank details will be forwarded.
